1. Fisher Family Pier and the beach walk

Start with the simplest oceanfront walk in Pompano: beach access, the Pier Parking Garage area, and a turn out onto Fisher Family Pier. The city parks page lists the public beach as open year-round, guarded swimming areas from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., and the pier as open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The pier extends nearly 900 feet into the Atlantic, with a bike rack and a monument on the pier.

2. Air Park Jogging Track

Use Air Park for the longer paved option. The city parks page lists a walking, jogging, and bike path at the 8.4-acre Air Park site, with benches and dog-friendly access. The city tourism site describes the route as a 4.4-mile loop by the airport that welcomes strollers, joggers, and cyclists.

3. Pompano Beach Community Park

Community Park is the inland pick when you want room, facilities, and an easy reset away from the sand. The city lists the park at 71 acres with a walking, jogging, and biking track, athletic fields, pickleball courts, an exercise area, picnic areas, restrooms, bike racks, and ADA-accessible facilities.

4. North Ocean Park

North Ocean Park is the small beach-side stop for a shorter walk with picnic infrastructure close by. The city lists the 2-acre park with picnic areas, grills, benches, restrooms, rentable pavilion shelters by permit, and ADA-accessible facilities.

5. Roy L. Rogers Family Park and Wahoo Bay

This is the compact waterfront pick at the north end of the city parks list. The city lists Roy L. Rogers Family Park and Wahoo Bay Conservation Site at 2.3 acres with picnic areas, benches, restrooms, fishing, a boat dock, a playground, a bike rack, dog-friendly access, and ADA-accessible facilities.
